The previous ensuite had a jetted tub no one used, a fibreglass shower that had seen better decades, and zero storage. We removed everything, re-framed for a curbless walk-in shower, laid a Schluter waterproofing system across the entire wet zone, and added electric in-floor heating throughout.
The new layout pairs a freestanding soaker against the back wall with a generous walk-in shower behind a glass partition. A floating double vanity gives the room visual breathing space while a tall linen cabinet adds the storage that was missing. Brass fixtures, large-format porcelain tile, and a soft taupe paint round it out.
